Brett Mitchell, Guest Conductor

Join the Orchestra for a fun-filled exploration of musical instruments using music familiar to all: music borrowed for the radio/TV series The Lone Ranger (Rossini’s William Overture), Fanfare for the Common Man by Copland (most recently used at the 2009 presidential inauguration) and Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra. Your students will see each instrument “bigger than life” through the use of live video projections.
