Which came first - the ART or the MUSIC? The Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of its Music Director Brett Mitchell, will perform music with projections of the related art. All music on this program either (1) inspired visual artists to create works of their own, or, (2) was inspired by paintings.

The featured music includes Stravinsky’s The Firebird, Rachmaninoff’s The Fair and Little Red Riding Hood & The Wolf, Ravel’s Mother Goose and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. These pieces are paired with art created by Bakst, Roussimoff, Rodrique, Schneider and Hartmann. This is the perfect performance to help your students explore their creative side, whether it’s ART or MUSIC!

Tickets may be purchased at the Box Office, or by calling 877.754.SHOW.
